To Build a Home // Inside my Dining Room!

Our new house is slowly but surely coming together, and today, I'm sharing a sneak peek into my dining room!

When we first got married we wanted a oversized farmhouse style dining table, but all of the ones we loved were waaaaay over our budget.  So we decided to diy one!  We made our table 7' long which is the perfect size for 6 people but is also big enough to add 2 extra chairs at the end (hello, dinner party for 8)!  We originally made matching benches to go along with the table, but after we found these Louis style chairs from World Market, we knew they would be a perfect match!

The Artcraft lighting fixtures were one of my absolute must haves when we were building our house.  I brought my mom with me when shopping for light fixtures and as soon as we saw these modern diamond shaped pendants we were both in love!  They come in a few different sizes, so we were able to carry the same fixture throughout the house and hang the matching oversized chandelier in our front entrance.

Ps. In case you were eying that delicious looking Oreo cake, I have good news for you!  I'll be sharing the recipe for it on the blog next weekend.  Umm yes please!
